The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday suspended three police officers for their negligence and alleged misbehavior with a rape victim during filing of the complaint. SHO GRP Mohit Saxena, SHO of Habibganj Bhupendra and SHO Sanjay Singh of Maharana Pratap Nagar station were suspended. Superintendent of Police Maharana Pratap Nagar has been removed from the post. Taking cognizance into the gang-rape of a 19-year-old civil services aspirant, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday directed a fast-track trial into the case. A 19-year-old woman was allegedly abducted and raped by four men near railway tracks here on Tuesday night when she was returning home after attending a coaching class. The complaint of the girl was dismissed as a "filmy story" by a sub-inspector, the survivor's mother said on Friday.
